Data deletion
Last updated September 22, 2026
Skrivox ("Skrivox," "we," "us") stores your data for one reason: to run the marketing agent you signed up for. This page explains exactly what is stored, how you can delete it yourself in one step, and how to ask us to do it for you. Deletion here is real and permanent -- there is no soft-delete and no recovery period.
What Skrivox stores
Account information
Your email address and a hashed password (or the Google/GitHub identity you sign in with), plus the business profile you gave us: your name, business name, phone number, LinkedIn and X handles, company description, target customers, brand voice, value proposition, and website and sitemap URLs. We also keep your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and a credit ledger of what each action billed.
Workspace content
The Markdown files and drafts in your workspace, your chat conversations with the agent, durable workspace memory, scheduled jobs and their run history, your governance settings, and any landing pages or forms you build and publish in the product, together with the submissions visitors make to them.
Generated media and brand assets
Images, avatar videos, and PDF exports the agent generates, and the logos and images you upload as brand assets. The records live in our database; the files themselves are stored in Google Cloud Storage.
Publishing records
A publish queue of what is scheduled to go out, and a publish audit log of what you approved, who approved it, what was sent, when, and to which platform.
Connected platform credentials
If you connect Meta (Facebook/Instagram), X, Threads, Discord, Zernio, or an external MCP server, we store the access tokens or API keys needed to act on that platform on your behalf, plus basic account metadata such as page names, handles, and channel names. These are the credentials deletion removes.
Operational records
A failed-login-attempt counter keyed to your email address (used only to slow credential guessing), your active sign-in sessions, referral records, and, if you contacted us, the support message you sent.
How to delete your data yourself
You do not need to ask us. Every workspace owner can delete their entire account from inside the product, right now:
- Sign in and open Your Profile from the account menu in the sidebar.
- Scroll to the Delete Account section and choose Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm. Deletion runs immediately and you are signed out. It cannot be undone, and there is no grace period.
That single action deletes, in one database transaction: your workspace and user records (including your email address and password hash), every file and draft, every conversation and message, generated image, video, and PDF records, brand asset records, workspace memory, scheduled jobs and their run history, the publish queue and the publish audit log, your governance settings and credit ledger, the stored credentials for your connected Meta, X, Threads, Discord, and Zernio platforms, external MCP servers and API keys, workspace invites and memberships, your published landing pages, forms, and their submissions, referral records, and your sign-in sessions. Because it is one transaction, it either all happens or nothing does -- a failed delete never leaves your data half-removed.
Only the workspace owner can delete the workspace. If you are a member, ask your workspace owner, or contact us and we will help.
What that deletion does not cover
- The underlying media files for generated images, videos, PDF exports, and uploaded brand assets are stored in Google Cloud Storage. Deleting your account removes every database record of them, so they stop being reachable through the product, but the stored files themselves are not purged by that automated step. If you want the files themselves gone, contact us and we will delete the stored objects for your workspace directly.
- Content already published to a connected platform -- for example a post already sent to Facebook -- is outside our control once sent. Deleting Skrivox does not remove it from that platform; delete it there.
- Stripe keeps its own records of your subscription and payments, under Stripe's own privacy policy.
How to request deletion from us
If you cannot use the self-serve path -- you are a member rather than the owner, you used Skrivox without an account, you lost access to your login, or you also want the stored media files purged -- ask us and a person will do it for you. There are only two routes, the same ones we already use for everything:
- The contact form at /contact, which reaches our support inbox directly.
- Email hello@skrivox.com.
Tell us the email address you sign in with -- that is the identifier every Skrivox record is keyed to. If you are a workspace member, include the workspace name. If you are asking about a conversation you had without an account, tell us roughly when you used it and anything that identifies the chat, because a logged-out trial workspace carries a placeholder address rather than yours. We will confirm the request with you at the address on the account before deleting anything, and we will write back when it is done.
On timing, honestly: self-serve deletion is immediate. Requests we handle ourselves are done by a person, not a job queue, so we won't quote an automated deadline we don't have -- we treat them as priority support and complete them within a reasonable period, then confirm by email.
For app review
This page is Skrivox's data deletion address for app review (Meta, X, Threads, Discord). The process described above is the only process; there is no separate or faster path, and no data is retained beyond what this page states.
